#CE Members Convention 2021

Join us on Saturday, February 13th for our #CongoExcellence Members Convention 2021 at 5:00 pm Kinshasa time on Zoom.

The Members Convention will give us the opportunity to give you an overview of #CongoExcellence’s work, address our activities and achievements throughout the year of 2020 and our projects for 2021.

In line with our mission to facilitate the contributions of young Congolese around the world to Congo’s socio-economic development, we will take this opportunity to give you the opportunity to present projects/businesses/initiatives that you are currently working on that contribute to the socio-economic development of Congo to our honorable guests. Through their feedback you will benefit from their expertise and direct mentoring, which will allow you to further pursue your projects for the good of our country.

Noëlla Coursaris Musunka
Philanthropist & International Model
Noëlla Coursaris Musunka, a Congolese/Cypriot philanthropist and international model, is the Founder & CEO of Malaika, a grassroots nonprofit that educates and empowers girls and communities in her home country of the Democratic Republic of the Congo through a school, a community center, and a comprehensive clean water program. A unique and fearless spokesperson, and the face of leading beauty and fashion campaigns across the globe, Noëlla is a voice for the power of girls’ education worldwide. Founded in 2007, Malaika’s education and health programs are today impacting thousands of lives and are all offered free of charge. Crucially, Malaika acts as a local model that can be replicated on a global level. Noëlla has shared her insight at a number of world-class forums spanning the World Economic Forum in Davos to the university halls of Cambridge, Oxford, Harvard, and MIT. In 2017, Noëlla was named one of the BBC’s 100 Most Influential & Inspirational Women of the Year, and in 2018, she received an award at the 100 Years of Mandela celebration. She is also an Advisor at Concordia and an Ambassador for the Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.

Kristen Tshika
Entrepreneur, Business Coach, Entrepreneurship/Leadership Trainer and Motivational Speaker
With more than 200 presentations in 4 countries (DRC, Sri Lanka, India, Gabon) as well as more than 2000 hours of coaching, Kristen Tshika is the most renowned Congolese speaker and coach on the national and international scene, with organizations such as the Belgian Cooperation, International Rescue Committee, World Economic Forum/Global Shaper Kinshasa, Global Unites and with several business executives.Since 2012, he has trained more than 2500 people and accompanied 126 entrepreneurs / entrepreneurs. He worked as a business coach at RDC Entreprise Développement (2018-2019) and 4 years as head of finance at Rayon Vert Sarl. From the professional world to a career as a trainer, coach and motivational speaker, he is very active in the field of entrepreneurship through coaching, training and business development, combining passion, action and results. Far from any theory, he knows how to guide an entrepreneur towards his full development. He is a business creator (Kaapital and Kristen Tshika Company), Investor and Associate (Shop Pacifik, the famous Consulting, Matemo Entreprise), mining trader.

Yves Mayilamene
Group Executive Human Resources
Yves Mayilamene is currently the Group Executive Human Resources at Ecobank Transnational Incorporated. Yves started his professional career with British American Tobacco (BAT) as a Graduate Trainee and held different senior HR positions there in Congo, Switzerland, Senegal and Kenya. He then joined the Telecom industry in 2006 to become the Chief Human Resources Officer – Francophone Africa for Celtel/ Zain and in 2010, he was appointed Chief Human Resources Officer Africa for Airtel, covering 17 countries. Yves’ expertise includes Talent Management, Training & Development, HR Strategy development, Organizational development and Leadership & Management and Coaching. He is passionate about helping organizations make the most of their Talent as well as driving organizational culture and change using HR best practices. In addition to his accomplishments, he has a proven knowledge and wide-range understanding of the sub-Saharan Africa Labour laws, culture and the industrial relations environment. Yves has worked in Togo, Nigeria, DRC, Senegal, Kenya, Netherlands and Switzerland.

Out of the projects submitted, we will select some that will have the chance to present them to our guests in form of a max. 3 minute pitch.
